Business Description
The Association of Police & Court Interpreters (APCI), founded in 1974, is a professional association of independent, freelance interpreters working within the Criminal Justice System.
Project Description
APCI required a secure membership database which could not only be accessed by its members, but also by APCI system administrators and by staff at a call centre. The database was also required to print an annual directory of members and interact with external ID card production software.
The Solution
The database that we produced had 4 hierarchical security levels, each containing an individual set of functions from administrators, users and members to the limited profile used by the call-centre. The application was totally built using ASP.net and VB.Net.

Abel Kitchens & Joinery is a family business and has been established in Essex for over 25 years, manufacturing and fitting high quality kitchens and bedrooms.
Project Description
Abel Kitchens & Joinery were re-branding and required a website to enhance their Internet presence and to aid their marketing campaign. The site was designed to showcase the different styles of kitchens, bedrooms and services that Abel Kitchens & Joinery supply.
The Solution
We designed a site with a contemporary feel using a simple layout to ensure that navigation was very straightforward. Flash was implemented on each page to showcase different services that Abel Kitchen & Joinery offer and to give the site a dynamic feel.
Essex Nursing Services Recruitment
Business Description
ENS Recruitment provide the highest quality recruitment services to housing associations, nursing and residential care homes, NHS and private hospitals, social services and private individuals in their own homes. ENS also provide an extensive range of training services to the care sector.
Project Description
ENS Recruitment required a complete overhaul of their website to incorporate a number of new features including, an online application section for members of the public to apply for job vacancies and also a means of applying for training courses online. The website was required to be data driven so that members of staff at ENS Recruitment could update the details of available courses, vet the job applications and control the news section on their homepage.
The Solution
We created a dynamic data driven website that not only allowed members of the public to securely apply for positions and sign-up for training courses, but that also allowed ENS staff to login and change the content of the website via a bespoke Content Management System. Built using ASP.Net, HTML and Flash.

Enigma Vehicle Systems
Business Description
Enigma Vehicle Systems are specialists in security and safety systems for commercial vehicles and construction plant markets, with over 12 years of experience.
Project Description
Enigma went through a period of rapid expansion and as such needed to centralise their corporate network and data in a more structured and scalable style.
The Solution
We implemented a Windows 2003 Server to control their domain and centralise their files, an Exchange 2003 Server to house their mailboxes, a Linux (Apache) web server to act as a gateway for their Outlook Web Access and company-wide anti-virus. We reconfigured one of their existing Cisco routers to enable VPN connections for members of staff to access the network while on the move. We also took the opportunity to implement a disaster recovery procedure including the installation of an off-site data backup scheme and a network of UPS units to maintain the company vehicle tracking network in the event of a power outage.

Sigma Commercial Products
Business Description
Sigma Commercial Products (SCP) specialises in the provision of both Control Point and Pipeline Solutions with a wide range of products to the global Waterworks, Oil and Gas industries.
Project Description
As a newly formed company, SCP required a web presence which would not only act as an online brochure of their services and products, but which would also act as an interface for their existing Inventory Management System running on SQL Server.
The Solution
We created a 2-fold website for SCP using Flash, and standard HTML for their main site. For the database interaction, we used ASP.Net and VB.Net to create an online portal for staff and customers to check stock levels and create orders. This functionality is presently unique in their industry and has put SCP at the forefront of the market.
